Gum Treatment
Scaling and Root Planing: This is a common non-surgical procedure to treat gum disease. It involves the removal of plaque and tartar from above and below the gumline (scaling) and smoothing the roots to promote healing (root planing).
Periodontal Surgery: In more severe cases of gum disease, surgical procedures may be necessary. These can include flap surgery to lift the gums and remove tartar, bone grafts, or tissue grafts to regenerate lost gum and bone tissue.
Gum Contouring: Also known as gum reshaping or tissue sculpting, this cosmetic procedure is done to reshape uneven gum lines. It can be performed for aesthetic reasons or in conjunction with other dental procedures.
